This borosilicate glass tritium cell module is an exact replacement for the module included in the TEC Isotope Photon tritium fob. If you were to ever damage or lose the original module, this is an easy do-it-yourself replacement to get you up and glowing again!

The Isotope Photon was designed around the concept of using a replaceable tritium module. This is not necessarily due to the need for a such a feature, but it allow us to use this standard design element to integrate this module into other future product designs. In addition, it also provides a component that others can use in their own designs for integrating tritium into their products. 

What you get:

Borosilicate Glass:
Although we have integrated this glass window into the TEC Photon fob and is therefore susceptible to breakage, we use a very high quality borosilicate glass. This is similar to the more familiar brand name Pyrex, and is extremely durable against thermal stress and shock. We have performed 5' high drop tests of the Photon assembly onto a hard concrete surface without glass breakage. However please bear in mind that this does not guarantee it will always survive such a fall, or that the installed tritium vials will survive such shock so please consider this in your application.

This tritium cell module features end cap supports for holding the tritium vial and a borosilicate glass window. This scratch resistant, crystal clear glass window will provide optimum visibility of the installed tritium vials.

If you plan to integrate this tritium cell into your own product design, please be advised of the following:

• The assembly is held together using the pressure of the O-rings, therefore the entire cell must be contained on both sides to prevent the cell components from separating
• Similar to our design, we suggest spring loading one end of the module to reduce shock and to minimize potential breakage of the tritium vial
• If you install this module into a bore, be advised of the dimensional tolerance:
• Outside diameter tolerance: 0.315" +/-0.012" [8.0 +/-0.30 mm]
• This module accepts a standard 3mm x 23mm tritium vial
